Seen here in a key colour tone for the new season, this Torrentshell 3L Jacket from Patagonia is a regular fitting style constructed with a 3-layer H2No™ Performance Standard shell that will stand up to downpours and bitter winds. The simple but effective aesthetic suits wear in both the city and nature and a combination of recycled nylon ripstop, polycarbonate PU membrane, tricot backer and a durable water repellent finish have been utilised to ensure a high level of protection without unwanted bulk. The front is fastened by a full length snag-free centralised zipper which is concealed by external and interior storm flaps and leads to a zipper-garage chin guard for comfort, and on the left side of the chest a woven label adds signature Patagonia branding to the design. Acting as a breathable, waterproof barrier the neck is lined with microfleece and the attached two-way adjustable hood has a laminated visor that rolls down and stows with a simplified cord-and-hook design. On either side of the waist zippered hand warmer compartments offer a place to carry essentials and have welted exterior storm flaps whilst under the arms, pit zips allow for ventilation when active. When not in use, this jacket can be self-stuffed into the left waist pocket.
