The newest addition to Nike’s SS19 t-shirt collection which incudes a range of playful graphics, the Seasonal Air Max 2 T-Shirt has been updated with an obsidian backdrop. The tee itself uses 100% cotton for a soft-to-skin feel ensuring all day comfort no matter what the weather, it’s short-sleeves make it a perfect layering piece across the seasons with a standard fit for a relaxed finish. A fine ribbing across the curved neckline maintains fit retention through wear. The graphic decorates the left chest with an obvious hint at the ‘Have A Nike Day’ collection of 2019’s Air Max day – a pair of Air Max 90’s are held up by pastel coloured balloons, all of which feature some sort of swoosh inspired branding.

Nike Sportswear’s SS19 collection has focused on simpler branding, favouring playful graphics which range from the ACG sasquatch to the swoosh inspired smiley. This shows how the brand has not only touched on designs of the vintage Nike era, but is establishing this decades own style which without a doubt will be used as inspiration in the future.
