Description
New for spring, this Weavers Stock Short Sleeved Square Shirt from Tender features a classic navy picnic check print and is made from deadstock fabric from British weaving mills. The body has been cut to a short and slim shape and the front is fastened by small circular white melamine buttons which lead to the neat collar neckline. The button placket has been cut from the same fabric where the check print narrows and contrasting white cover-stitched overlocking can be seen on either side and again around the armholes, side seams and short sleeves. Finished with a deep hem based on vintage t-shirt designs, the short sleeves encourage wear throughout the warmer months. This shirt has been designed and made in England.
Based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, Tender Stores are known for their crafted clothing and accessories that are made using traditional techniques and machinery and bring attention to carefully selected fabrics that are destined to gain additional charm over time. Having worked in the heart of the Japanese denim industry in Kojima, Japan Tender founder William Kroll draws constant inspiration from the British age of steam and antique workwear which he references in each seasonal collection whether it’s a certain button material, stitch or dye technique.
