An essential for everyday comfort, this barn red Boardshort Label Pocket Responsibili-Tee T-Shirt from Patagonia is made from a blend of recycled cotton and postconsumer recycled polyester jersey with a smooth finish and makes use of discarded materials. Cut to a regular fit through the body with taped shoulder seams, the curved neckline has a flexible ribbed trim which sits comfortably against the skin whilst the body and short sleeves have clean straight cut hems that allow for easy layering throughout the year. On the left side of the chest a shaped patch pocket has been added and provides a background for a woven rectangular label showing original Patagonia artwork, coloured in tones of red, blue and orange.

For each of these t-shirts made, 4.8 plastic bottles and 0.3 pounds of cotton scrap are put to good use which in turn uses 96% less water and creates 45% less CO2 than a conventional cotton tee. Fair Trade Certification has been awarded to the designs construction whilst the custom label design references Patagonia’s extensive archive which spans back to 1973.
